One common thread throughout UPFDA is the deep regard and respect we all share for the pest control industry. The reverence with which our members speak about its people, its purpose, and its mission inspires me every day.

This year’s Spring Conference focused on the future of our industry — where we are headed and how we, as a community of manufacturers, distributors, and industry partners, can best protect, lead, and strengthen it. That theme was reflected not only in our presentations and panel discussions, but also in the many meaningful conversations shared throughout our time together in Charleston.

The legislative and regulatory challenges facing our industry continue to grow, reinforcing the critical role our manufacturing and distribution community plays in advocating for our teams, our organizations, our partners, and our fellow UPFDA members. Our industry needs leaders who are willing to engage, collaborate, and help shape the path forward.

Each day, we must approach that responsibility with passion, creativity, and a commitment to service.

The pest control industry has given all of us so much. Together, we must rise to the challenge of leaving it in a better place for future generations.

In other words, ask not what this industry can do for you — ask what you can do for this industry.
